Excellent care requires excellent people
Every person in our Practice is essential to your care so we endeavour to recruit, train and retain the best people. Everyone who joins us understands our expectations and receives regular training and personal development to ensure we all share the same ethos of putting our patients at the heart of everything we do.
By providing a caring environment for everyone, we engender loyalty. As the saying goes – we don’t expect loyalty, we earn it. Our practice is part of Rodericks Dental, a company with over 65 practices across the country. We are different because our company is run by dentists – for patients.
I qualified in 1991 in India and did my masters in Oral Surgery in 1997. Along with practicing Clinical Dentistry, I also pursued my interest in academics by working as a lecturer in the dental faculty in a medical school in India. I resigned in 2005 as an associate professor and head of dentistry to pursue a career in the UK. I qualified in the UK with the statutory exams in 2008 and have been practicing in Somerset since 2010. It’s a pleasure to work here with a friendly, professional team. Outside of work I spend my time reading, travelling and spending quality time with my family.
My name is Beverley, I qualified in Leeds in 2013 and relocated to the South West. I am dual qualified as a dental hygienist and also as a dental therapist undertaking restorative work. Currently I am also involved in dental research for the NHS. I have a keen interest in inhalation sedation and am hoping to further my skills in this area, often treating anxious patients. In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
Hello, my name is Angela and I have started working at Chard House Dental Practice in May 2016, and I am settling into my new reception role which I really enjoy. When I am not at work I enjoy reading, trips to the theatre and keeping up with my family here in Chard and in New Zealand.
My name is Rachel. I have recently joined the team as a Trainee Dental Nurse / Receptionist and I am very much looking forward to starting my training towards gaining my nursing qualification. In my spare time I enjoy travelling around the country supporting my partner in his mountain biking. I also have 2 pugs named Dylan and Teddy, I enjoy taking them for walks.
